A Christmas Story – Luke 2.22-40

December 28, 2014 – 1st Sunday after Christmas

It has become my tradition on the First Sunday after Christmas to read a Christmas story. This year it was Patricia MacLachlan’s The True Gift. (MacLachlan also wrote Sarah, Plain and Tall which won a Newberry award).) Many Christmas stories are heavy on the cheese for my taste. Not The True Gift. It’s a beautiful story that’s stayed with me. I hope you will enjoy it too.

Check it out from your local library or purchase it from an independent bookseller if there’s one in your area.
